What this document is

Every product sold on idp.click is a private professional translation of your national driving license, presented in the international 12-language layout as a booklet, wallet card and/or PDF. It is produced by IDP.click, a private, independent commercial service.

What this document is not

It is not an International Driving Permit issued under the 1949 or 1968 United Nations road-traffic conventions. It is not issued by, endorsed by, or affiliated with any government, the United Nations, any automobile association (including AAA or FIA members), or any licensing authority. It confers no driving privileges of its own and is usable only alongside your valid original license.

Where the official permit is required

Some countries accept only the official government-issued permit obtained in your home country before travel. Our country pages say so plainly, and our checkout refuses destinations where our document does not work. Japan, South Korea, mainland China and Vietnam are notable examples.
